So Sweet

She's such a great employee and really takes pride in her produce department.  Sophia is so sweet and is such a hard worker.  Every month, Sophia sits in on our food co-op board meetings and diligently takes minutes.  So today was our board meeting.....a long meeting, plus a good-bye to two board members whose terms are ending this month.  Wow, can't believe March will mark my one-year as a Board of Director for our local food co-op.  The next 12 months will center around our expansion project, which means lots of work .  I think I'll be busy...yikes!

Let It Snow

Woke up to a blanket of new snow.  It then continued snowing all day long.

Came home from work to do a little snow shoveling and I kept getting this feeling that someone was watching me.  Ohhhhh, it was just Manny.....my snow kitty!

Bike man cleared the snow off the house roof again.  Look at those snow mounds!!!  I don't mind the snow, especially since we were lacking in snow last winter.  Hope to play in the snow this weekend.

Just Busy

Sometimes it's all work and no play.  That's been my week so far.  Got a chance to drive to the city today for a meeting.  Felt good to just get away and re-connect with my colleagues.  On the other hand, Bike man finished his busy day by attending a local mountain bike meeting and connecting with other cyclist in our area.

Outdoors

Such a nice day to be outdoors. Tagged along with Bike man as he checked his urban streams.  Hiking in to the streams is so beautiful and relaxing.

Some of the creeks are frozen over, but this particular one was partially open. 

Sometimes the monitoring involves a careful balancing act!  Checked four streams today and then headed home to enjoy the rest of the afternoon.

Bike man headed out ice fishing, and I got out for a little snowshoeing.....finally.

The temperature was perfect and the snow was fluffy.  I think the best part was the fresh air and just being outdoors today!
